Refunds & Rescheduling

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Cherry City Jumpers (“Company”) and the Renter/Client who is identified as being the one who is listed on the booking form, when a rental is requested and/or booked (“Renter/Client”). By completing a reservation, submitting payment, and/or accepting delivery of the equipment, the Renter/Client acknowledges, understands, and agrees to all terms contained herein.

Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy (including weather)

Cancellations for bounce house rentals, party rentals, and any other rental equipment are permitted to be rescheduled one time at no additional charge with at least 72 hours’ notice. Reschedule dates are subject to equipment availability and may be substituted with an equivalent piece of equipment or rental unit if the originally requested item(s) are unavailable.
Cancellations for bounce house rentals, party rentals, and any other rental equipment made within 72 hours of the scheduled delivery date without selecting a reschedule date are permitted a 50% refund of the total amount paid.


Cancellations for custom installations, specialty rentals, personalized items, and any requested or custom equipment are permitted to be rescheduled one time at no additional charge with at least 10 days’ notice. Reschedule dates are subject to equipment availability and may be substituted with an equivalent piece of equipment or rental unit if the originally requested item(s) are unavailable.


Due to the labor, preparation, material costs, and custom work involved, cancellations for custom installations, specialty rentals, personalized items, and any requested or custom equipment made within 10 days of the scheduled delivery date without selecting a reschedule date are permitted a 50% refund of the total amount paid.


No refunds will be issued once equipment has been delivered, setup has begun, or custom/specialty items have been prepared, installed, or delivered for the event.


Cherry City Jumpers reserves the right to cancel or suspend rentals due to unsafe weather, including but not limited to, hazardous conditions, including high winds, heavy rain, lightning, flooding, unsafe setup surfaces, or other safety concerns. In such cases, the Renter/Client may receive a reschedule credit, rain check, substitute equipment, or partial refund at the sole discretion of Cherry City Jumpers.

Supervision & Age Requirements

The Renter/Client agrees to:

  • Provide active adult supervision at all times.

  • Allow only children to use this unit (unless otherwise specified).

  • Ensure all participants are of similar size, age, and weight to prevent injury.

  • Users of the bounce house do not exceed weight limit listed on the unit identified by the white label

  • Responsible for all user safety

  • Renter/Client agrees to all manufacturer rules and regulations listed on the unit identified by the white label

  • No user is allowed on the unit while it is not being supervised by an adult or while it is not inflated or when blower is turned off

The Renter/Client assumes full responsibility for enforcing these rules during the entire duration of their rental and/or while the unit is in their possession until Cherry City Jumpers picks up bounce house unit.

If one or more owners/employees/ representatives of Cherry City Jumpers are present at the event for any reason, their presence does not constitute supervision, monitoring, or assumption of responsibility. Responsibility for the equipment and for all individuals using the equipment remains solely with the Renter/Client listed on this Agreement. This clause does not apply if they are the Renter/Client that rented the bounce house unit

Delivery Areas

Delivery available to: Albany, Dallas, Keizer, Turner, Woodburn, Independence, Stayton, Aumsville, Scio, Silverton, Millersburg, Mount Angel, Gervais, St. Paul, Canby, Wilsonville, Monmouth, and surrounding areas.

Free delivery areas include: Salem, Keizer, Turner, Aumsville. All other areas are subject to delivery fees

CHERRY CITY JUMPERS – FULLRENTAL AGREEMENT & LIABILITY CONTRACT

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Cherry City Jumpers (“Company”) and the Renter/Client

 

Acceptance of Terms

By completing the reservation, placing a rental order, submitting payment, or accepting delivery of any rental equipment, the Renter/Client acknowledges and agrees that they assume full responsibility for all rented equipment and for all individuals using or interacting with the equipment during the rental period.

“Equipment” includes, but is not limited to: inflatable units, bounce houses, water slides, tables, chairs, tents, linens, concessions, generators, backdrops, arches, décor, centerpieces, lighting, yard games, custom installations, specialty rental items, and any requested or custom equipment provided by Cherry City Jumpers.

These terms become binding upon booking and remain in effect for the full duration of the rental period. Failure to read these terms does not exempt the Renter/Client from responsibility.

Setup Definition & Completion

Setup is defined as the original placement and installation of the equipment as positioned by Cherry City Jumpers at the time of delivery. Setup includes the placement of inflatables, tarps, blowers, tables, chairs, décor items, tents, custom installations, specialty rental items, and any requested or custom equipment, along with all stakes, sandbags, anchoring devices, or installation materials used according to manufacturer and safety requirements.

Once setup is complete, the Renter/Client acknowledges that the equipment is properly installed, secured, and safe for use. The Renter/Client assumes all responsibility for the equipment from that moment forward. Cherry City Jumpers is not liable for any injuries, damages, or incidents that occur after setup is completed, including but not limited to shifting, movement, weather-related damage, misuse, theft, vandalism, or lack of supervision.

Supervision & Age Requirements

The Renter/Client agrees to:
• Provide active adult supervision at all times for inflatable units and children’s activities
• Allow only children to use inflatable units unless otherwise specified
• Ensure all participants are of similar size, age, and weight to prevent injury
• Ensure users of the bounce house do not exceed the weight limit listed on the unit identified by the white label
• Be responsible for all user and guest safety
• Follow all manufacturer rules and regulations listed on the equipment
• Ensure no user is allowed on the inflatable while it is not supervised, not inflated, or while the blower is turned off

The Renter/Client assumes full responsibility for enforcing these rules during the entire rental period and while the equipment remains in their possession until picked up by Cherry City Jumpers.

If one or more owners, employees, or representatives of Cherry City Jumpers are present at the event for any reason, their presence does not constitute supervision, monitoring, or assumption of responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Safety Rules 

The Renter/Client agrees to enforce the following rules:
• No flipping, wrestling, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior on inflatable units
• No jewelry, sharp objects, shoes, food, drinks, gum, or prohibited items on inflatable units
• Maximum combined inflatable weight limit: 400 lbs unless otherwise posted
• Do not operate inflatables in winds 15 mph or higher
• Do not use inflatables during heavy rain or unsafe weather
• Do not stand on tables or chairs
• Do not move or climb on décor installations, arches, backdrops, or tents
• Stop use immediately if conditions become unsafe

The Renter/Client assumes all responsibility for injuries or damages resulting from failure to follow safety rules.

Prohibition on Moving or Altering Equipment

The Renter/Client agrees that the equipment shall not be moved, lifted, dragged, deflated, dismantled, repositioned, altered, or modified in any way after setup. Only Cherry City Jumpers is authorized to install, secure, adjust, move, or remove equipment unless prior written approval is provided.

Any unauthorized movement or alteration:
• Places full liability on the Renter/Client
• Voids all warranties and safety assurances
• Voids the Damage Waiver (if purchased)
• Results in a minimum $150 unauthorized movement fee plus any repair costs

Liability Release & Assumption of Risk

The Renter/Client acknowledges that Cherry City Jumpers does not supervise the use of the equipment and is not present during the rental period unless specifically contracted to do so. The Renter/Client assumes full responsibility for all risks associated with the equipment, including injury, death, property damage, theft, misuse, weather damage, or accidents involving rented items.

Cherry City Jumpers shall not be held liable under any circumstances once the equipment is delivered, setup, or in the Renter/Client’s possession.

The Renter/Client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold Cherry City Jumpers harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from the use, misuse, movement, operation, damage, or storage of the equipment by the Renter/Client, guests, invitees, or any other individuals on the property.

 

Damage, Cleaning, and Repair Charges

The Renter/Client is financially responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or excessive cleaning that occurs during the rental period to any inflatable, rental item, décor item, custom installation, specialty rental item, or any requested or custom equipment, including but not limited to:
• Tears, cuts, punctures, burns, or broken parts
• Stains, mud, food, drink spills, candle wax, glitter, or excessive dirt
• Damage from animals or animal waste
• Damage caused by improper use or unauthorized movement
• Damage from fireworks, cigarettes, fire pits, candles, or open flames
• Missing tables, chairs, linens, décor items, hardware, accessories, specialty rental items, or custom equipment
• Water damage to décor or electrical equipment
• Broken folding chairs or tables from misuse

Prohibited Items

The Renter/Client agrees that the following are strictly prohibited:
• Silly string
• Gum
• Paint or face paint
• Markers or pens
• Food, drinks, candy on inflatable units
• Sharp objects
• Fireworks, fire pits, cigarettes, candles, or open flames near rental items
• Pets or animals inside or near inflatable units

Fees
• Cleaning fee (excessive dirt, food, drinks, vomit, glitter, wax, human/animal waste): $50–$250
• Repair costs: $100–$500+
• Replacement of irreparable equipment: full replacement value
• Unauthorized movement fee: $150 minimum
• Missing item replacement fees will be charged at full retail replacement value

The Renter/Client agrees to pay all applicable fees.

Access & Setup Requirements

The Renter/Client agrees to provide:
• A 3.5 ft wide unobstructed entrance for equipment access
• A clear, level path to the setup area
• A clean setup area free of debris, hazards, and animal waste
• Adequate space for all rented items

Failure to clean animal waste or provide safe access may result in cancellation without refund.

 

Setup Surface & Power Requirements

The Renter/Client agrees that:
• Overnight rentals require a secured and safe area
• Concrete or asphalt setups may require sandbags or additional anchoring fees
• No setups on rocks, large gravel, mud, or uneven surfaces
• Each inflatable blower requires its own dedicated 15 amp outlet within 80 ft
• Only Cherry City Jumpers may handle setup or takedown unless otherwise approved

 

Equipment Specifications

• Circuits Needed: 1
• Unit Dimensions: 13 × 13 × 15 ft
• Space Required: 20 × 20 × 20 ft
• Equipment dimensions, power requirements, occupancy limits, setup requirements, and usage guidelines vary by rental item, including custom or specialty equipment, and will be disclosed at booking, upon delivery, or as otherwise communicated by Cherry City Jumpers.

 

Delivery Areas

Delivery available to: Albany, Dallas, Keizer, Turner, Woodburn, Independence, Stayton, Aumsville, Silverton, Millersburg, Mount Angel, Gervais, St. Paul, Canby, Wilsonville, Monmouth, and surrounding areas. Delivery fees apply.

Occupancy Limits

• Bounce Houses: 5–6 children of similar size
• Slides: 1 rider at a time
• Tables and chairs must be used within normal intended capacity limits

 

Cleaning & Sanitation

All rental equipment is cleaned and sanitized before each rental. The Renter/Client agrees to return all equipment in reasonably clean condition.

 

What’s Included in each rental

Depending on rental selection, Cherry City Jumpers may provide:
• Extension cords
• Blowers
• Professional setup and takedown
• Tarps
• Safety stakes or sandbags
• Tables, chairs, décor, linens, or other rental accessories ordered by the Client

What the Renter/Client Must Provide

• Adequate space for setup
• Dedicated electrical outlets within 80 ft (for inflatables/electrical equipment)
• Water source and hose (for water units if applicable)
• Safe and secure environment for all rented items

Optional Damage Waiver

For 7% of the rental fee, the Renter/Client may purchase the Residential Equipment Damage Waiver. The waiver does NOT cover:
• Silly string
• Gum
• Paint/face paint
• Markers/pens
• Cuts, slices, punctures, or burns
• Animal damage
• Sharp object damage
• Fire/fireworks/cigarettes/candles
• Theft or intentional damage
• Missing items
• Unauthorized movement of equipment

Moving or altering equipment voids the waiver immediately.

Park Rentals

The Renter/Client agrees to:
• Obtain all required permits
• Provide proof of permits upon request
• Accept responsibility for all fines or violations
• Provide their own approved power source if required
• Pay any additional park-related fees

 

Assumption of Inherent Risk

The Renter/Client understands and acknowledges that inflatable amusement equipment, party rental equipment, décor installations, tents, tables, chairs, and any requested or custom equipment involve inherent risks including, but not limited to, slips, falls, collisions, entanglement, equipment failure, property damage, serious bodily injury, or death. The Renter/Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the use, setup area, operation, and presence of the equipment.

 

Responsibility for Guests & Participants

The Renter/Client accepts full responsibility for all guests, participants, invitees, spectators, and any persons using, interacting with, or near the equipment during the rental period. The Renter/Client agrees to ensure all individuals comply with all safety rules and terms contained in this Agreement.

 

Theft, Missing Equipment & Non-Return

The Renter/Client is responsible for the full replacement value of any equipment that is lost, stolen, missing, not returned, or damaged beyond repair during the rental period. This includes inflatable units, tables, chairs, linens, décor, concessions, specialty rental items, and any requested or custom equipment provided by Cherry City Jumpers.

 

Equipment Condition Documentation

Cherry City Jumpers reserves the right to photograph or video record the equipment, setup area, and surrounding conditions before delivery, during setup, and upon pickup for documentation, damage verification, safety compliance, and dispute resolution purposes.

 

Right to Refuse Setup or Cancel Rental

Cherry City Jumpers reserves the right to refuse setup, discontinue use, or cancel any rental at any time if conditions are deemed unsafe, hazardous, inaccessible, improperly prepared, or in violation of manufacturer recommendations or company policies. Unsafe conditions may include, but are not limited to, high winds, severe weather, unsafe surfaces, animal waste, aggressive behavior, intoxication, inadequate space, or dangerous environmental conditions.

 

Damage Waiver Disclosure

The Optional Damage Waiver is not insurance and does not cover negligence, misuse, theft, intentional damage, prohibited items, vandalism, missing equipment, unauthorized movement, weather-related damage caused by improper use, or violations of this Agreement.

Governing Law & Venue

This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Oregon. Any legal action, claim, or dispute arising from this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in Marion County, Oregon.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Attorney Fees & Collection Costs

In any action to enforce the terms of this Agreement or recover damages, fees, or unpaid balances, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees, court costs, collection fees, and related expenses.

Acknowledgment of Agreement

By signing below, completing the reservation, placing a rental order, submitting payment, or accepting delivery of any rental equipment, the Renter/Client acknowledges and agrees to all the Terms & Conditions listed above. They (Renter/Client ) understand they assume full responsibility for all rented equipment and for all individuals using or interacting with the equipment during the rental period.

“Equipment” includes, but is not limited to: inflatable units, bounce houses, water slides, tables, chairs, tents, linens, concessions, generators, backdrops, arches, décor, centerpieces, lighting, yard games, custom installations, specialty rental items, and any requested or custom equipment provided by Cherry City Jumpers.

These terms become binding upon booking and remain in effect as soon as the rental/equipment enters the indicated location and until the rental/equipment leaves the indicated location. Failure to read these terms does not exempt the Renter/Client from responsibility.
